Seren Calon Heart Health provides assessment and support for individuals seeking reassurance, early evaluation, and personalised guidance regarding their heart health. Whether it's for work, for reassurance before travelling or simply peace of mind, we've got you covered.
This service may be appropriate if you:
- Clients over the age of 18yrs old - under 18s will require specialist paediatric care
- Are experiencing symptoms such as palpitations, a fast heart rate, dizziness, or lightheadedness
- Feel anxious or uncertain about your heart health and would value time to discuss your concerns in detail
- Would like a preventative heart health check or reassurance assessment
- Require an ECG for work, travel, insurance, or personal reassurance
- Are seeking clear, professional advice in a calm, unhurried setting
When This Service May Not Be Suitable:
This clinic is designed for low-risk assessment and reassurance-based care and is not intended for the management of complex or high-risk cardiac conditions.
You may be better supported by specialist or urgent NHS services if you:
- Have diagnosed or suspected angina
- Have heart failure or require ongoing specialist cardiac management
- Are experiencing severe, worsening, or unexplained cardiac symptoms that require urgent assessment
What to expect.
Appointments are designed to provide a clear, personalised understanding of your heart health in a relaxed and supportive environment.
During your consultation, we will discuss your medical history, any symptoms, and relevant lifestyle factors. Measurements such as blood pressure and heart rate will be taken, and where appropriate, additional assessments may be carried out.
You will receive a clear explanation of your results, along with personalised advice and a written summary that you can keep and share with your GP.
This service focuses on assessment, early detection, and prevention. It does not replace your GP or hospital care. Medications are not prescribed, and if any concerns are identified that require further investigation or urgent care, appropriate advice and signposting will be provided.

- Sudden severe dizziness or weakness
